dr. M.Ersilia Armeni accomplished her medical studies between Trieste and Rome. Here she graduated in 1977 and trained as a Pediatrician and Neonatologist (1981). After spending one year in the city Hospital S. Giacomo, she moved to New York City (USA) and served in the pediatric residency program of Beth Israel Hospital, for three years (1985). After the birth of her two kids she returned to Rome. She then started working in private practice as a pediatrician. In 1996 she became an IBCLC (International Certified Lactation Consultant). Since 2004 she is President of the Italian ibclc association (www.ibclc.it).
In 2008 she published the book for moms Allattare.net (Castelvecchi Ed).
