Molly Apple's Sweet Potato Casserole
This is a fabulous side dish for Thanksgiving or any festive occasion

Ingredients

6 good sized sweet potatoes, peeled and boiled until soft
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup of milk


Topping:
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans



Method

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) Boil & mash the potatoes. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla,a& milk.Put mixture in a 13x9 lightly buttered baking dish. Topping: Melt butter. Mix in to butter all of the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle this mixture on top of potato mixture. Bake uncovered for about 25 minutes. Serves 10. You can double or triple this recipe.
